I am specialised in vinyl mastering for electronic music.
Trough the years I’ve learned about the limitations of vinyl and tried to find a way to work around them.
My first records sounded pretty bad when I heard them on a big sound system although the tracks sounded well in my studio and on other consumer sets.
That triggered me to learn every technique to make better masters for vinyl and big sound systems.. For a while had the luck to have access to a big rig near my studio and tried many different hardware, software and DSP systems. Now I have found several ways to achieve the massive sound I always wanted and have my music on vinyl just the way I meant it to be |  |
Sometimes I have to process a track only, just to make it suitable for vinyl and give it a professional touch. But, on your request I can amplify the whole heart of your music by giving it some extra character; I call this creative mastering. I can add some extra analogue atmosphere to your track or give it some extra colour with some special tricks is have in my boxes. . Since I worked with very different styles of electronic music I had to use many different techniques to meet the standard for each style. I learned to listen to the music and feel the intention of the composer. This makes mastering real fun and a creative job. If you sent me your track as a WAV file (trough FTP) I will make a proper master and send you the result as a low quality MP3. If you decide to take the master I will send you the full quality WAV (24bit 48 KHz) after payment. You can use this master directly for cutting your record. Please do not use any (multiband) compression and limiting on your recordings. This way I have the best chance for good result. Also, I prefer the recording to be in 24bit, 48 KHz resolution since my mastering gear processes in this resolution.
If you have ever released a record yourself you probably know that there are many things that can go wrong when sending your data to the pressingplant. Also, many pressingplants have their own policy for sending your data and this can be nifty sometimes. I have many experience in making the material suitable for pressing when it comes to the audio master and the artwork. To say it blunt, I can process your raw audio and graphic artwork so that your pressingplant can accept it without any problem. Just sent me the audiofiles and your artwork in almost every fileformat and I will process it the correct way. A final check Since I like this work and find the result of my masters very satisfying, I am not planning to make big business with this so I decided to make the prices pretty affordable and straightforward (just pay per track). € 30,- per track When I want the job done in a professional way it takes me some time to reach my final result. Sometimes the source material needs some extra attention, and if you have any special wishes like, giving the track some extra colour, analogue sound or subtle distortion, I will add an extra fee after I discussed this with you in advance. Just send me an e-mail and I will give you access to my FTP where you can upload you track(s). Within 48 hours you will receive a MP3 from the result, if you are satisfied you can set the payment and you will receive the final master. If you are not happy with the result, no harm you don't have to pay. |
